This Data Processing Agreement (“Agreement”) forms part of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy entered into between Rent-Reveal (“Company”) and users of its services (“Customer”) and governs the processing of personal data.

  1. Definitions

  • “Processing” means any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, use, storage,
    or disclosure.
  • “Processor” means Rent-Reveal, who processes data on behalf of the Customer.
  • “Controller” means the Customer, who determines the purposes and means of the processing of
    Personal Data.
  1. Scope and Roles
    Rent-Reveal acts as a Processor on behalf of the Customer when processing Personal Data in connection with the Services.
  2. Processing Details
  • Subject Matter: The processing of Customer data as necessary to provide the Services.
  • Duration: For the duration of the Customer’s use of the Services.
  • Purpose: To provide, support, and improve the Services.
  • Categories of Data Subjects: Users, visitors, and other individuals interacting with the Services.
  1. Processor ObligationsRent-Reveal shall:
  • Process Personal Data only on documented instructions from the Customer
  • Implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security
  • Ensure confidentiality of personnel processing Personal Data
  • Assist the Customer in responding to data subject requests
  • Notify the Customer of any data breach without undue delay
  1. Sub-processors
    The Customer authorizes Rent-Reveal to engage sub-processors. Rent-Reveal shall ensure sub-processors are bound by similar obligations.
  2. International Data Transfers
    Rent-Reveal will not transfer Personal Data internationally without appropriate safeguards, in accordance with applicable law.
  3. Data Subject Rights
    Rent-Reveal shall assist the Customer in fulfilling obligations to respond to requests for exercising data subject rights.
  4. Return or Deletion of Data
    Upon termination of the agreement, Rent-Reveal shall delete or return all Personal Data as requested, unless retention is required by law.
  5. Audit Rights
    The Customer may conduct audits to verify Rent-Reveal’s compliance with this Agreement, subject to reasonable notice and limitations.10. Limitation of Liability
    Each party’s liability under this Agreement shall be subject to the limitations and exclusions set out in the Terms of Service.
  6. Governing Law
    This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware.
